Registration · Invoicing · Badging

Run your convention’s front door like you’ve done it a hundred times.

Convenora is the premium registration platform for associations, societies and organizations that run their own conventions. Flat pricing, invoices your members’ institutions will actually pay, and badge stations that arrive configured.

One system

Three jobs, one system, no hand-offs between vendors.

Registration tools stop at the ticket. Convenora carries every attendee from the first form to the badge on their lanyard, and bills the people who actually pay.

Registration

Forms that fit your organization, not a template.

  • Build panels of fields, add-ons and free events; show questions only when they apply
  • An advisor or officer registers a whole delegation, one person at a time, and pays for any subset
  • Early, general, late and on-site pricing by date; member and non-member rates
  • Comp lists, spreadsheet upload, deadlines with reminders
  • Every attendee gets an account to add items later

Invoicing

Built for schools, agencies and chapters that pay by check.

  • Card checkout, or an invoice to pay by check or purchase order
  • PDF invoices and receipts with your remit-to block and W-9 on request
  • Partial payments on a group, refunds, credits, voids
  • Payouts straight to your bank account through Stripe
  • A bookkeeping report your treasurer can hand to the auditor

Badging

Self-service at the door, with a staff station for everything else.

  • Hold the check-in pass from the email under the scanner; no typing
  • Badge prints in seconds on a wireless label printer; check-in is recorded
  • Walk-ups register and pay at the staff station
  • A designer for 4x3, 4x6 and card badges with color-coded designations
  • Live arrivals counter, reprint log, check-in report

At the door

A badge in hand in under 30 seconds, without a line.

Pre-printed badges get wrecked by walk-ins and title changes. Convenora prints on demand the moment a check-in pass is scanned, on printers that cost a few hundred dollars.

  1. 1

    Check-in pass

Every attendee gets a QR code in their confirmation email, in their account, and as a printable pass.

  2. 2

    Hold up the phone

A scanner at the station reads the code from the phone or the printout. No tablet keyboard. Searching by name is the fallback.

  3. 3

    Print

The badge prints on a wireless label printer next to the tablet. No dialog, no driver.

  4. 4

    Checked in

First print records the check-in. Reprints and corrections happen at the staff station.

Questions

The things people ask before they sign.

Do you take a percentage of our registrations?

No. You pay the plan price and the card processor’s rate (2.9% + 30¢ through Stripe), which goes to Stripe, not to us. Checks and purchase orders cost nothing extra.

Can we keep the printers we already own?

Usually. Convenora prints to Brother QL, Zebra ZD and DYMO LabelWriter direct-thermal printers and to Epson ColorWorks color printers, over Wi-Fi, Ethernet or USB. Send us the model and we will confirm before you sign.

What happens when the hotel Wi-Fi fails?

Every kit ships with its own travel router, and the station keeps the roster cached so badges keep printing. Check-ins sync when the connection returns.

Can our members’ institutions pay by check?

Yes. The organizer chooses check or purchase order at checkout, gets a PDF invoice with your remit-to details, and the registration is confirmed when you mark it paid.

Can we move our existing registrations in?

Yes. Upload a spreadsheet and Convenora matches people to chapters, lookups and add-ons, flags anything it is unsure of, and lets you fix it in place before importing.

Is it accessible?

The public pages meet WCAG AAA contrast, every control is at least 44 pixels, keyboard focus is always visible, and the kiosk works with a screen reader. Public institutions ask for this; most registration tools cannot answer.

Where is our data?

In the United States, in Postgres on Neon with the application on Railway. Every organization’s data is separated by organization and you can export or delete all of it at any time.
